Give a Little Love

Throughout the year and the days, especially during the holiday seasons, people are generally in a rush. Take a second, each time you are out and about getting your daily list done, and consider the strangers around you. Stop and compliment someone, smile at someone for no other reason than to spread some joy.
Whenever I am at Walmart, I always take a moment to compliment my cashier, or even another customer. My husband always laughs at me, and asked once, "Why do you do that? Every time we go somewhere you have a conversation with someone you don't know." (Well that was the gist of it, perhaps not his exact words.)
I said this to him, "I might be the only good thing that happens to that person today."
Think about that. Doesn't it feel wonderful when you are complimented? Isn't it nice when you are stressed and someone takes a second to say, I appreciate you? Just a few simple words can make such a difference to someone who needs to here them.
So take a second and compliment a complete stranger. Talk to your cashiers and waitresses and sales associates. Hug someone who looks like they need it. Tell a friend you love them. Tell your family you love them. And smile to yourself, because you did a wonderful thing today, you created a little more of the most prescious and rare commodity, love.
I sent my love to all of you out there.
